Qualified Teacher for Grades 4-6 Wanted

Are you a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 with a broad qualification in core subjects looking for new challenges? Do you want to work with teaching and collegial learning using action research as a tool? Then this is the position for you.

The school is located in beautiful Torshälla, close to both nature and culture. We have approximately 830 students from preschool to grade nine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a middle school teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on your teaching based on Lgr22. You are responsible for monitoring each student's individual development and learning while teaching your class in several subjects. It is important to us that every student receives support, encouragement, and opportunities to develop in a joyful, challenging, and learning environment. You will collaborate closely with other teachers in the team who teach the same grade.

At Gökstensskolan, we work with action research aimed at understanding and improving practice based on a scientific approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with a broad qualification to teach core subjects in grades 4-6 or are currently studying with graduation expected this summer. It is excellent if you have experience of practical work based on the current curriculum. It is also beneficial if you are trained as a VFU supervisor. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form while feeling comfortable using modern IT tools in your work.
